2006 Redwood Sports Car Club Brochure Autocross are one-car-at-a-time on a course setup in a parking lot. Speeds are low, stressing car control during acceleration, cornering, and breaking. Driver skill is the focus, more than just performance. Instructors are available at each event. The cars are grouped based on potential, into more than a dozen classes. All Autocross at the Somoa Peninsula site. Fees are $20.00 for non-members, $12.00 members and first time autocrossers. Gate open 7:30 Registration 7:45 - 8:30 am, Tech Inspection 7:45 to8:45 Drivers meeting at 9:00 - General Meetings are the 2nd Monday of month, 7:00 pm at the ADORNI CENTER, in Eureka RSCC - P O Box 478, Eureka, CA 95501 - sees race dates and sponsors below |
